Fabien Castanier Gallery is proud to present the first exhibition in Los Angeles dedicated to the work of France’s leading street artists today. The exhibition will present an extensive range of work by these artists including paintings, installations, silkscreens and sculpture. Speedy Graphito, JonOne and Tilt will be present at the Opening Reception on May 12th, spraying a collaborative mural live throughout the evening.

In honor of FRENCH INVASION, JonOne, Speedy Graphito, Tilt, Rero & Nasty have produced a limited edition collaborative silkscreen print to raise funds for Inner-City Arts. Each print is $45 and will go on sale May 12th at 11 am, one per person. Those prints purchased on May 12th will be signed by Speedy Graphito, Tilt & JonOne. Kozyndan have struck again with another fully metallic silkscreen print of their popular “Bunny Blossom” image. It was released on their website in an edition of 200.

Charlie Anderson: Exit Music

Scottish artist Charlie Anderson produced two prints here at Modern Multiples for his show Urban Exposure at Castanier gallery.  His work combines stencils of advertising, political campaigns and other design elements to achieve what appears to be a the leftovers of decaying posters you might find layered on a wall.

Frank Romero: Going to the Olympics

In 1984 on the 101 Freeway between Alameda and San Pedro in Los Angeles, Frank Romero painted a historic mural measuring 103′ x 22′. This is a serigraph recreation of the mural, it was entirely hand separated by the artist.
