Frank Romero: Going to the Olympics

In 1984 on the 101 Freeway between Alameda and San Pedro in Los Angeles, Frank Romero painted a historic mural measuring 103′ x 22′. This is a serigraph recreation of the mural, it was entirely hand separated by the artist.

Frank Romero’s newest print “Arrest of the Paleteros” is a serigraph reproduction of his 1996 painting depicting the paleteros, or ice-cream men, being arrested in Echo Park for not having vendor permits.
